This little project took place on a farm owned by a regular customer of ours, which needed tidying up.

We stripped back the verge of the roof in order to install a cable ladder, extending the roof out past the stone gable, protecting it from the weather. We then made all the necessary stone repairs and repointed the whole wall.

 

Once this was completed we installed our new barge boards and tiled the roof to the correct overhang of 50mm past the barge boards, both protecting the barge board timber and stone wall from water damage.

This work protected the old barn from further water damage, increasing its life for other uses in the future.
