This patio in Gillingham was one of the first projects we completed for this regular client of ours, which was designed to create a level, accessible space for our client to sit on in the summer.

We cleared the area of the old 600x600x30mm concrete slabs then excavated the foundations for our dwarf wall that would retain the hardcore the formed the base for the patio. We built this out of concrete blocks and faced with reclaimed style bricks.

The patio itself was made up of 3 different sized coloured concrete slabs, that went round the corner to the driveway.

We later returned and installed some shallow steps and a concrete path to the rear of the property, where the previous one had failed.
